Our work

We aim for every new project we start to be the best thing we've ever done. It's not about the size of the client, or even the project, it's about getting our toys out and seeing what new things we can do with the next challenge. This can mean bringing new experiences to smartphones or creating interfaces that empower hardware. It can mean inventing something entirely novel or putting a fresh skin on existing software.

That's where you come in: We want you to expect more. We want you to be differentiated and original. We want to share your vision.

Hermes extruder

e-3D trusted us for the branding of their new "Hermes" 3D printer extruder. We got inspiration from the shape of the innovative heat sink attached to the device, and added the winged feeling of Hermes. Very exciting to be printed on industrial products.

Cobalt Resolve

Cobalt Light makes scanning equipment for government agencies and related security providers. They make several versions of scanner, one of which is a handheld device to scan the contents of suspicious objects.

Tamarindo Sketches

We're doing some visual planning for the website of a new client, Tamarindo Communications, a renewable-energy focussed PR firm in Oxford. The eventual site will be a scrolling narrative, telling the story of how this energy-related PR firm came to be and how its culture affects its clients.

Greater Change

We're trying to bring the cash-free giving tech the fluidity and accessibility it needs to encourage strangers to donate to rough sleepers.

INET

We were asked to design nine icons to represent INET's nine main research themes. The challenge was to bring nine very different ecumenic themes together and incorporate them under one style that was recognisable and yet distinguishable. Alongside the main themes, we were also asked to design icons for the 5 programme teams including ‘Complexity Economics’, ‘Economics of Sustainability (EOS)’ and 'Ethics and Economics’. With such challenging and abstract imagery to work with, it took time to narrow down the essentials of each theme and what was really needed to communicate the meaning.

Hetty Hospital

The brief:

An App designed for children aged 4-8 years exploring the hospital environment. Our main character should be about 6 years old with ginger curly hair in pigtails. She should be cheeky, inquisitive, a Tom-boy, likes the outdoors and inseparable from her little teddy.

We had a specific brief but ran with it head on. We polished each version and iteration after iteration we finally discovered our Hetty!
